Great prices, just can't afford delivery !

Hello, I am going to order front upper and lower arms for my Disco 3 from you but I need to know the weights of them so I can see if my inlaws can bring them in their luggage when they fly over next month. The codes are Kit 600, Kit 619P and bushes for the anti roll bar (28mm) Kit 604.
Your on line postage calculator said 169 pounds Big Cry

Thanks in advance for your help
Tony

These things are quiet heavy.....

From what I recall the lower arm should be around 15 kgs each. The upper less than 10 kgs. Plus the bolts...most of them are good for scrap.

Far cheaper to just buy the bushes and fit them into your old arms Thumbs Up

Maybe I will have to just buy the bushes. Does superpro have a complete kit you can buy that covers all the front end ?

Bushbasher67, parts prices from AF including freight for the few items I have looked at are cheaper than purchase through the Australian dealer network. Don't forget that we do not pay their VAT so save 20% on already cheaper prices than the Aussie suppliers offer.

The parts I intend to purchase are the OEM front wheel bearings and both front LCAs.

The only bugbear at the moment is what is happening to the AUD compared with the GBP.

I did download an app from LRParts and the weights were listed for many of the parts I was looking at. HTH.

The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

Well in the end I ordered all the bushes for the front end, upper, lower and anti roll bar along with the ball joints and all relevant nuts and bolts for the job. I live 100 miles from the nearest car shop so I am trying to cover all possible scenarios.
I ordered on Thursday and they arrived this morning (Tuesday). How bloody good is that!
It takes me longer to get stuff sent up from Perth and that's only 400 miles away, and stuff from the eastern states is very hit and miss.
Very impressed.
Thank you Advanced Factors I will definately be using you again in the future

Thumbs Up Good job they didn't send them with Monarch Airlines Laughing bushes are quite easy to fit they are just time consuming, put them in a freezer for two or three hours and the arms in your glorious sun, clean the arms out well with emery paper and they will push in with the help of a mallet. Do not lock the arms up with the wheels hanging, lift them to normal height then lock them off before having four wheel alighnment done, but of course you know that. Thumbs Up
