Greenlaning & Offroading in Wales
Forum members based in or close to Wales who wish to take their vehicle Offroad and minimise risk of damage may want to consider joining 4x4 Response Wales.
The group is a registered charity and volunteer service offering logistical support to local authorities, health service and police etc. during times of inclement weather. Volunteers are re-Imbursed their mileage on call outs.
The group organises regular training events covering off road driving and other relevant skills and is part of the National 4x4 Response Network.
With winter approaching the group is keen to recruit new volunteers and get them trained and kitted over the next couple of months.
If you have any specific questions post them here and I will try to answer them (or pm me).
Mark

We have other Volunteers from further afield than Warrington and it's really up to you whether you feel you are able to travel the distance to North/Mid Wales when required.

We have a training and assessment event on 15/16 Dec which would enable you to get signed off as a Responder before the snow comes. It will be in Llanfyllin area.
I will pm you with more info. I am the joint Powys Controller so you would probably be in our group if you join up.

RH15 LEW. Did you get my PM? It’s still showing in my outbox which I think means you haven’t read it.
