Unlike the deafenders from the 70s, the Jeep probably isn’t rusty at all
Great pics and commentary

It is indeed fantastic. We met some Malaysians on 1st tour (Weds) and they are just over an hour away by plane but have only just gotten round to coming here. I’d be here every other month In the dry season if that was the case.
Bit of a long day today, mostly as our van broke down and put a 2.5 hour spanner in the works. See what I did there? Know I’ve got a bit of a backlog but will start catching up asap. Bandwidth allowing. Meanwhile here’s a nice sunset, well we missed the setting bit so nice sun glow.

Having real problems uploading pics of Angkor Wat area. Should have decent weefee in Bangkok from Tuesday night onwards. If I can get them uploaded before will do so. Got about a gazillion pics so far, difficulty is choosing which.
Meanwhile here’s a couple.

Just home from Thailand Del. We’ve left Bangkok in one piece for you, but there might be a shortage of Singha beer for a few weeks whilst they replenish stocks!
Here’s a monkey that nicked my golf ball yesterday.

At least the monkeys here nick healthy things to eat. Have mango, will scoff.

Now what do the Rules of Golf say about a monkey stealing the ball? SWMBO suggests they could be trained to pot the ball in the hole.

R & A rule 9 applies. Ball has to be retrieved if possible and replaced. Well, I just got another ball out and played it! No way I was going to try and retrieve my original ball.
You know the monkeys are a bit dangerous when the barlady at the halfway house has an AK47 BB gun under the counter to scare them off! I so wish I had a picture of said incident, but we all hit the deck when she lifted the gun up and shot at the monkey in the bin! 😂

Only one more day left in Siem Reap/Cambodia before heading to Bangkok Tuesday. Really loving Cambodia, it’s a lot more relaxed than Vietnam, peeps are a lot friendlier, not saying Vietnamese weren’t but here the peeps seem to smile a lot more. Our fave bit is here in Siem Reap. Not just because of the Khmer temples all around but it’s much more relaxed than Phnom Penh. Plus so much to see and do. We’ve done a mix of tours, on our own renting tuk-tuks and, as today and tomorrow, hiring a car and driver. Anyone in this part of the world, living or on holiday, are seriously missing a fantastic place, get yerself here.
We’ve pretty much covered all the temples here that can be accessed easily, just 3 more to visit tomorrow to the east of SR tomorrow. Will sort out some pics of the highlights, prob when we’re having a restful 4 days in Bangkok, it’s just going to be difficult to choose which ones.
On a separate vein, it’s been 2 months into this trip and it was time to get my flowing locks under control. I couldn’t put it off any longer as that would be Thailand, no way they’d let me into Singapore if I left it that long, plus haircuts here are $3. Would be rude to say no.
As in VN earlier this year, before:

He even trimmed my schnoze hairs, eyebrows and ear hair! Best $3 ever as I don’t think I’ll need another cut for a while. Mind you when it was being done it felt a bit like this.
Couple of other pics, not Khmer Temple related.
Here there are dozens of Lexus RX 4x4s, they are everywhere!! They make good shade for the local dogs.

And loved this tuktuk coming back to SR with three mountain bikes on the back. Well it was 32c and pretty sunny so they obviously wussed out and got a lift back to town.

Right, will get working on best pics. Meanwhile here two. First from the Terrace of the Elephants, second from the Terrace of the Lepper King.

No idea what the poor drummer had done to upset the other dude.

And a gratuitous temple and tree pic. Well it would be rude not to. Lots to come once I get organised.
