crazy idea...millions of war dead (if they were lucky) had a bit of granite in a field as a memorial....
demolisish it...put a lump of granite there...say a prayer...sad as it is...life goes on....

City land is precious and there is a shortage of good quality accommodation. Better to knock it down and replace it with some really good accommodation for the community i.e. not expensive apartments for the wealthy.
How better a memorial can you have than to improve the lives of those still living? Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

"When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die! You don't know who's children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"
