Ground clearance (jack lift)

I tried searching through the forums here, but I can't find any exact specifications as to minimum jack lift height requirements.

I've got my eye on: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007XQN5...PDKIKX0DER which being, a low-profile jack can be dual-purposed for my lowered car, too (3.5")

But, the max jack height is 17.25" or 43.81cm. I've really not found any decent jack lifts with positive reviews that have a larger max height than 18" / 46cm (which are in the $200 range.)

Will 17.25"/44cm be enough clearance?

ISTR U need 60cm lift so no good.

PS or was it 53cm?? Embarassed

PPS Get one of these, they are perfect for my D3 and "normal" car:
