Had the D3 in for a few warranty bits -- non-functioning FBH, driver's side washer jet and ashtray that just stopped latching. All fixed -- FBH was a matter of error code resetting (it was basically working fine, but threw a wobbly at something).
Anyway, apparently washer jet replacement is not covered by the warranty (but was pretty cheap). The good bit was that although the washer fluid has been low for a while Guy Salmon did not take the opportunity to fill it up at a cost of tuppence ha'penny to them and arm+leg to me. Odd, but welcome, to see a dealer avoiding a bit of easy profit in the current climate.
And they insisted on giving me a lift to the station. (In a Mini, but that's OK. I hadn't been in one before -- it had the hugest speedometer I have ever seen ) Mark...

The standard one. Car isn't yet three.
Presumably, their judgement was that the replacement was due to wear and tear rather than a manufacturing defect.
I may give LRCS a call in the morning. Mark...
