GS (Stockport) does it again. |

O.K. at the risk of sounding repetitive and people thinking I’ve got shares in Guy Salmon (Stockport) here goes.
SWMBO’s Freelander 1 (1.8 K-series) got the dreaded head gasket failure as per this post: http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic22404.html Anyway a short time after she got it back it started to develop what I would describe as a slight judder on tick over, I gave Martin a quick bell and explained the situation and he took her car in straight away, they treated SWMBO like royalty (her words not mine) and put her straight into a new Freelander 2 and sent her on her way. In the 10 minuets she was waiting and chatting with Helen and Martin she spotted a new one of those teddy’s that they do, a Freelander monkey and semi joking said to Martin that she thought James (our 18 month old son) would just love it (which as most of us know is SWMBO code for I want it for myself) and would get me to buy it for him when we went back for her car.
We got daily updates as they needed to order a part in and when fixed and given a full valet they delivered her car back to her (which was very convenient) and on the passenger seat was this Freelander monkey, which resulted in her doing a girly squeal and one of those little dance on the spot things that SWMBO’s do when they get over excited.
She phoned Martin to thank him but he was having none of it, explaining that it shouldn’t have developed the judder in the first place and said that was the least they could do for her.
Total cost £ 000.00 / Result £ Priceless. Brute force and ignorance, the D3 does the rest.

Good to hear of dealers who go the extra mile.
Sounds like excellent service and that other bit ... customer care.
Well done to them
