Might be FL2 - there are no signature LEDs that I can see and it IS getting new lights and a revised 2-bar grilleI know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I have a feeling that Ford might have taken a few extra copies of the Land Rover CAD disc before they sold it to Tata... because this is the front of the next Ford Explorer due to be launched in the US later this year. I was shocked to see just how similar the front looks to the LRX. It's not exactly the same, which is obvious when you get them next to each other, but I'd be if I was Tata, especially after Ford have already copied the switchgear and icons etc.

You can see the lights (just) under the garb
More photos...
That last one is so much DNA in it from LR I'd suggest it should perhaps have been 'imagineered' as....

Damn right Steve. Let's hope the D5's a bit of forward looking design rather than a Demon Tweeks tart-up job.
cheers

We have been here before with Ford:

I think that LR is easily able to survive this particular piece of plagiarism. The shame for Ford is that I don't think its design team needs to do this. They can produce great looking cars with a distinctive Ford visual signature.
