Nick, what time and what day are you over there, we'll get a group of us together, wait on a side road as you come out of Gaydon for a bit of leafy lane driving (which of course you're going to ask "may I take it up the road" ), we'll then do a starsky and hutch on yer and meet you down at the esso station

I'd very much like to know whether 18" rims are going to fit over the larger 3.0 brakes, because if they wont I can think seriously about grabbing a D3 instead of waiting for a base model D4.

The D4 is brilliant
Handles great, the engine is so sweet and responsive, and much quicker than the 2.7...had a couple drag races on the Aston Martin proving ground
The interior dash has obviously been re-designed and i like it, some won't.
i'm trying to think of things to post but there's so much so i will look back over the post and see if i can answer some questionsTLO has left the building.......

i know it's for another forum and another time but the
FFR 5.0 litre Super charged...i want, i want, i want........
0-60 in 5.9 secs
standing start drag race against the outgoing 4.2 s/c
the new 5.0 will hit 100 and back to zero before the 4.2 reaches 100 TLO has left the building.......

I want to know whether the EBP issues are sorted in this model. Would be nice if they went back to a traditional one but I'm guessing that won't happen...
Still using the old EPB system
Unless they are using new designed parts wich i will not know till new catalouge released

I understand all the trim is "soft touch" including the trim around the radio making it more difficult to fit switches etc to.
Nick, can you take the trim off and see if a D3 piece of trim will fit.
New dash is a soft touch, slightly spongey trim and will not take too well to mdifying or switch mounting i don't think.
he dash is all new design with only cd slot now instead of all stereo buttons as stereo controlled now by sat screen and 5 way switching on the steering wheel

bring your ipod too and give the sound system a good blast - I assume the ipod kit is standard
ipod and USB connectors are inside the cubby lid and are standard on all models
At last the ipod and usb can e controlled by the sat screen and all track and album info are shown on the screen

Are they both genuine side air intakes or is one fake?
Does it still have the spare battery space?
Have they done anything to improve access to the spare wheel (i.e. without having to lift the rear seats up)
Can I still have my iPhone plugged in where I want with the cable (rather than in the cubby box?)
Has the alpine roof got more then one opening sunroof yet?
Can I still get Black LR badges for the front and rear?
Fake
No
Forgot to look
The connection point is in the cubby lid and the cable which you need to plug the ipod in is only about 12 inches long, so unless a longer cacle can be found from other sources, cubby box it will have to be
Yep, the badges are looking the same size, ALL FFRR and RRS will come as black and silver standard but D4 will be green and gold

How have they improved the D4's suspension? New uprated bushes? New beefier control arms? How have they improved the ride quality? Can any of these pieces be retrofitted to the D3?
i could tell you but then i would have to kill you
the full info on the dynamic suspension systems are stil embargoed so no real explanation allowed(i did promise) but just be assured they have all new suspension systms with new control arms and bushing and since i took it down a slalom course myself the ride quality has to be driven to beleived
at 70mph on the test track swerving side to side it took all in it's stride with no drama at all, it drives lke a dreamTLO has left the building.......

Did you happen to get any photos of the 2010's in action? Please post some if you have them as there have been minimal photos available online.
Thanks in advance.
