Graham, it would be better if you detailed exactly what problem you're having and what seems to trigger your fault rather than suspect something that may not be accurate and possibly a million miles away from finding the fault.
Is the battery in good order, any other symptoms, what dash lights are lit etc. Mods:

You need to run the engine and stick a multimeter across the battery. Report back what voltage is shown.
Also, why did you replace the battery for a new one? Mods:

I change the battery as I did a load test on it and it failed so thought it was the root of my problems
I also have trouble going from 3 to 4 and sometimes get transmission fault
I have read the codes and get U0416-94 (invalid data received from dynamics control module)
and U0421-94 (invalid data received from ride level control module)
I am hoping its all related to one problem

That alternator output is not good especially in this cold weather.
Best advice, fully charge the battery over night, see if the symptoms go but return a short while later.
From what you've already posted, and symptoms starting to get worse, I would suspect the alternator. Mods:

These beasts are very power hungry and somewhat sensitive + temperamental when there's not enough power in the battery.
Charge it, see what happens. Mods:

Charge voltage below 14 volts, i would consider as to low.
Should be 14,5 volt +/ -
According to Sønnak, charging voltage should be 14,5 at room temp. ay 50 degrees, 13,8 volt.
Around 0 degree celsius, 15 Volt.
For every 10 degree celsius outside temp lowers, charging voltage should increase with 0,3 volt.
D3 I believe compensate for the temperature, and some other parameters when adjusting the voltage.
Mine`s very often around 15 volt the first minutes of driving, then i lowers to 14,4- 14,5 volt. D3, MY06

Ok so the good news ive fitted new alternator getting 14.5v now and seems to have sorted the gearbox out touch wood ,Bad news I still have suspention fault HDC ive changed the steering angle sensor as it was not registering as working ive come to code it but it looks like its not communicating so im guessing a corroded wire somewhere.
Now I have found a little connector near the osf near the pedals that was all green and corroded when I moved this the sound went of from the stereo im wondering if this is for anything else or just the radio
thanks for your help
