Do the D4 headlight washers work the same as the D3 washers ?
because mine dont 
was driving down the M6 today and decided to wash some of the dead BMW drivers off the windscreen. I had my headlights on, just to let the BMW drivers know i was in their lane 3.
i washed the windscreen loads of times between manchester and Bristol but i couldnt see the head light washers work.
how do they work, or are they just for show like the left hand side air intake grill ?? Duncan

I think mine work on every 6th wash of the windscreeen when headlights on - but there may also be a time span as well which has to be exceeded before the headlights will wash again.
Very anoying when you want to give a pedestrian a shower when they are stood to close to the car. 
If the water gets low the headlight wash seems to give up before the windsceeen washer packs up.

Have you tried selecting Mud and Ruts and trying it again? Club Exped trailer

I know it should work normally but istr that instead of every sixth cycle it will operate every fourth one. It's worth a go no? Club Exped trailer

washer bottle was full... at least is was when i started spraying the washers. I must have tried it every 10-15mins between manchester and Bristol
