Head Unit Hidden Menu - Some very Cool Info Indeed!!!

Hi Team,

Thanks to Winger for getting me to the menu. See his description in mods section under the TMC thread.

I had to press several buttons to get the pin code screen to come up.

I used only the number supplied by Winger, it makes you wonder what else may come up with another number??

Any way down to the good stuff.

In this menu there are many menu options, a lot relating to the software versions.

I will take a picture of them if someone will host it, Martin shall I send it to you?

The cool things are the MOST test screen, which runs a diag, that looks to me like an old style IBM DOS PC Debug screen, basically showing a full screen of hex codes, now I wonder what we could do if we changed them?!!

There is also a Vehicle Configuration screen with lots of info in lots of menus.

But heres the clincher, there is a screen for the external video inputs, and a test of each of them.

There is a DVD input, OK so we know there was a DVD rear screen option, but this is a test for the picture to come to the front screen.

Theres an input for a 'Companion Camera', I am assuming this is for the remote external roving stck on cam like you can get for the rangie.

Theres a TV input, wonder if it would work with other video sources?

Finally there is a rear view video camera test option.

I wonder where that may be located on the rear of the vehicle as an option?

Cant remember all the other options, will need to take a pic of them.

Let me know if yiu need any more info.

Thanks again Winger.

Cheers.

Nige.

Nige,

Very cool.

As you know, my Settings menu is absent and so is this !!!

So bloody annoying. Maybe its only available on the Premium Audio ? I have the Harmon Kardon setup in mine. Standard on the 'S'

You guys have allllll the fun Wink If anyone can hack my car to get the features that I should have, please shout.

Simon,

This is the Nav Touch Screen, not the infotainment IHU.
