Has anyone gone to the expense of LR Headlamp protectors? I have had problems with them keep coming out of their position, one even cracked through movement. I would have thought they would need 2 clips to hold them in place. Another time one came loose while driving, did not fly off due to bonnet holding clip in place. LR say there is no problem, service manager says they are not good design. Look forward to your comments. 2005 Disco 3 HSE in Zambezi + Ebony, Sat Nav, Active Locking Rear Diff and Cool Box

I have them on my disco also (or rather, used to). I echo your sentiments...my right protector got blown off on Sunday (..that very windy Sydney Sunday). The top retaining clip was re-shaped by the force of protector being torn off. Am having second thoughts about getting a second set.

I have similar problems, but the odd time I have to get out and reposition the protector is better than replacing a headlight. Have a nice day!

Guys,
The design is cr@p.
I used self adhesive Velcro tape on the lower inner fold which "clips" to the underside of the headlight. Run a strip the length of the fold and similarly under the headlight
I used the "hooks" under the head light and the "fluffy bit" on the headlight protector.
It works fine and holds the protector on quite securely.

Guys.
Same problems this way, but mine just dropped off the car when I stopped, So I took both off, and havent put them back on jet, may try the tape idea and see how it goes.
