Headlights

Is it possible to upgrade the headlights on my 2010 GS so that all the little lights light up. Excuse my none technical jargon.

if you mean the fairy lights (LED) in a circle around the main and dipped headlights then yes its possible.

There is a thread on here about jumpering the wiring in the fuse box to get them working if a CCF edit doesnt work straight away.

However be aware that yours (like mine which is a 2011 XS ) may not physically have the LED fitted which means new lights are required if you want them to light up.

i believe the fairy LED lights were only fitted to the Xenon headlights, but it just depends on the spec it came out the factory with.

In all probability, as your D4 is a GS ... it doesn't have xenons so won't have fairy lights.

But not always the case as some sensible folks had them as an option.

My 2012 has what looks like fairy lights, but they aren't and they don't like up. My lights (and I suspect yours are too) halogen and not xenons.

Someone will be able to say for definite but i think if yours takes a H7 477 dipped beam bulb, as on the halfords website so you can check, then you're in the same boat as me and will need to upgrade the headlight unit.

Hope that helps

^ 100 Correct

Your GS lights look like they have the fairy lights but its just blanks in those slots so will never work. Get some Xenons bought and coded in - its the best upgrade you can do IMO

Thumbs Up
