headlights keep turning on and off automatically?

Hi all,

so i have an issue with my car, the headlights are on auto, they dont come on, the side lights do. when i put the headlights on using the switch from auto to on, it comes on for 10 seconds, then back off, then comes back on after 5 seconds, then back on, and just carries on.

i have fitted a dash cam, im not sure if thats related, ive realised that the auto sensor is there perhaps?

can someone help?
thanks

Just tried that, but it still happened, however I removed the cable from the roof,it hasn't happened again, I think the wire may be obstructing the rain sensor? I will test again when I go for a drive.
Thank you Sea Raider
