Folks - any ideas?
The last few days, when ever driving my D3 the headlights are coming on even in bright sunlight.
The switch is set to auto and normally they have worked fine eg only come on when getting dark or going into a tunnel etc. Now they stay on all the time even when like today the sun is cracking the flags...
any ideas ?
cheers
(PS - no I havent covered the light sensor up! )

So you do know where it is then? I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I assume its the thing built into the rear view mirror mount
Still doing it today. I wonder if some how I have managed to switch day time running lights on...as per certain foreign markets?

There's two: one behind the rear view mirror and one next to the center speaker on the dash.
See here, had a similar question:

Not managed to figure it out, it seems to have reverted to normal operation.

The one by the centre speaker mount is a sun load sensor for the climate control.
The lights are controlled by the one behind the rear view mirror. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

It seems to be any time of day not just low sun.
Defo still doing it. Guess its off to the stealers for a warranty claim - along with my wing mirrors that keep positioning themselves randomly regardless of memory settings .....looks like my cars got the electrical gremlins.
Cheers

Could just need a software flash, I am sure dealer will sort anyway. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
