Heater Matrix

Hi Everyone.

Does anyone have a guide/ any advise for removing the centre consol to replace the heater matrix?

My 2005 discovery has been loosing water for a while now and has been getting progressively worse.

We noticed water was coming out of drain hose (type things) either side of the gearbox.

We then looked in the driver foot well and pulled back the sleeve on one of the pipes running down. The second we did that its was spraying water everywhere.

It may be possible to replace just the pipe with the fault but I said to my mate (mechanic) that if were going through the effort of taking loads apart we may as well replace the heater matrix (the car is just shy of 200k now so any easy and relatively cheap parts we can get to I am replacing so I can keep the old girl going a bit longer).

If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
