Hiya budd,
So after reading all this the lesson is... if I have a battery drain issue (which I probably have) then it’s time to head to Kent for a visit ?

I would just leave the airbag stuff alone.
If the leak is thru the red white seat wire, maybe it could be connected to the ignition circuit
Ok will do
will remove the cushion base first so will give me better access to the module and all the wires
Will then write them down step by step inc what amps are going to each wire
Plus just looked that 8 x way seat switch without memory function are over £150 quid, but not going to worry about that at the moment
This battery drain is my priority first and can then go from there
Thsk again pete

Standing battery
31 aug -12.9 Vdc
3 sep - 12.38 Vdc
When D3 was locked and after 30 x mins had the reading of 0.32 A
Removing fuse 46 , memory drivers seat , ( note the memory ecu had been bypassed )
After waiting 30 x mins the meter now reads
Drum roll

So Pete I think that’s a massive difference and can’t even begin to say thanks for being so patient with me
I’m not going to bother messing around with the seat , will buy a drivers loom and 8 x way switch pack and remove the lot
Have put the battery back on charge and will monitor the battery each day through the battery app
Happy days and think that’s a fantastic result
Fingers crossed it now behaves itself and just in time before the winter sets in
Plus have learnt a hell of a lot

excellent result
But if you can get to that red/white wire easily to measure it, and move it, that has to be a lot easier that changing the switch pack, wiring etc?
Plus could be useful for others that have done the conversion

Hi pete
Thought u would also be pleased
Only reason I thought about ripping it out was I assume the memory module is at fault , but won’t do anything until I test that red/ white wire
Can also have a better look at the memory seat switch , as in if the plug can be cut off and wired directly into the 4 x motors ????
Daft question and something I thought about today , if the seat earth isn’t as good as it should be causing the battery drain ????
When I unbolt the seat base thought it wouldn’t take 10 x seconds to clip a test lead across from the connectors earth to the body
Once I find my torx bits to remove the seat base will indeed update the thread
Thks again and great if it helps others

won't be the seat earth
I think the seat switches are very different.
Cost at least £50 + you need different wiring.
Also not all (non memory) switches lift the base separably at front and rear
If the leak is down the red/white wire, disconnect it, and connect it to green/purple wire on seat connector at front (if you have it.) An ignition supply.
Ignition will need to be on to move seat, but it would be an easy and cheap way to resolve.
If you don't have the wire, try a feed from the front or rear cigar lighter

No worries , was just an after thought , always like to find out why
Just looked again in the wiring diagram of the wire ur talking about
Can easily take some better close up pics of what I originally done in the end and how there all connected
Will put the fuse 46 back in so I get the original battery drain fault again and will test that red / white wire and move it accordingly and test again
Thks again

Looking at old pics of some of the seat wiring
But will take fresh pics of the connectors and what colours are exactly there
