Height of D3 with Land Rover Top Box

I am off to France again this year and was thinking of using Norfolkline as they seem to be the cheapest Wink

On their website they state that the maximum car height is 2.4metres.

Does anyone know what the total height of the D3 is with the Land Rover top-box on the Land Rover roof rails??

thanks

Mel.

Just been and checked - on the back of the sunvisor it calls out a height of 1.92 to the roof and 1.97 to the telephone pod - in access mode!

How much more the rails are than the pod I do not know

The handbook gives 1837mm in access height and 1887mm in standard, which is without roofrails. I think these add 12mm giving 1849mm. Or 1mm below the height on the Channel Tunnel. But I haven't tried this!

If it's Norfolkline just book it and don't worry about it, they'll put you on the lower desk with the trucks if you're over height.

Just make sure you put the park brake on or tell them to chock the wheels......
