LR heavy duty tow bar. It replaces the slot-in tow bar which LR call an "occasional" device (once they started falling out in use, of course).

At first sight, I expected a 'Kahn' badge but the 'raspberry and lime' look is their corporate image: their recovery vehicles are in the same scheme.

The car looks great - but what is it with that tow bar hanging out the back - what a monstrosity.

Its a heavy duty towbar. I've had one on my D3 and D4 for the last 15 years with a Dixon Bate adjustable hitch. Great bit of kit Thumbs Up . It also keeps other drivers at bay. Laughing

Al,
It’s a garage in Yeovil opposite the Volvo dealership- rebook your next service there and have a tyre-kick while you wait?

Volvo dealer..... Volvo dealer..... ah yes! I remember! We see them once a year for a service!

Not like the relationship you get with a Land Rover dealer Mr. Green

How you doing Lex?

Watching some IPL with an IPA or two and giving the dog a scratch on a lazy Sunday afternoon; how’s you and the Moreton crew?

It's generally only an issue if you use a LR dealer. or Indies often see less of their customers because they do it right first time most time. Thumbs Up

That tow bar is disgusting - our slot-in tow bars which are rated 350kg ball weight and 3500kg are not for occasional use and work well if maintained - even though ours is similar to yours we never had recalls. We have nicer aftermarket bars as well.
