hello all!
Hello to all on the forum, my names Rob iv been watching the forum for quite a while and have decided to look at buying a discovery, my only worry is the cost of insurance. I say this because I'm only 21 soon to be 22 and the quotes I have been getting as a guide are very high. I don't have any no claims either as I have use of a work van whenever I need it. Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of an insurance company which would be able to help. Iv had my licence for just under two years and have experience driving bigger vehicles for work purposes.

Good choice, I bought my Disco when I was 22, Insurance was about 800 I think but I had my license for thick end of 5 years but no no claims, I found a vehicle on ebay of a similar spec, price and age as I wanted and put that number plate in to one of the compare websites before I purchased.

Thanks I'm going to try Steve at a plan and that's what I have been doing, by finding similar cars which I like. I don't like to be seen as a young driver without any experience driving bigger cars because I do it all day everyday at work. Im an HGV mechanic for a car, van and truck hire company so I know how to drive. Don't get me wrong I'm not the best ever though
