Help anyone?

GAHHHH.... Had the D4 4 days!

Just done a 200 mile round trip, fantastic, stopped at home for 15 minutes, got back in started her up and "Restricted performance" warning, and engine management light has come on.... I hope its nothing serious but I dont understand why that would spring up?

Any help or pointers would be very welcome. Big Cry

Could be a number of things, Advise contacting main dealer immediately or call out land rover assist. They should be able to plug in and see a fault code. Prob turbo ,solenoid, valve.

Ask dealer to carry out all up-dates available and get in writing from them that they have.

Good luck

0800 521786

Give them a call and they hopefully should send a Landrover tech and not the AA.

By the way, please do not let this put you off the D4 experience. The car is awsome.

A few of us have had to deal with the teething problems (myself included) and once you get this resolved hopfully you can continue enjoying the car. Thumbs Up

Right....Apparently its the MAP sensor on the blink, so a new one is winging its way to the stealership and it should get done in the AM...
Funny thing is the rental is an HSE on a 61 plate, all bells whistles with 1000 miles on the clock. A new sat nav and I love that gear "stick" Laughing
Not sure if Im going to be to feeling to good to get in back behind the "old" 59 plate Shocked

BUT........ Am having side vents, front grille, rims and roof rails as per "landmark fitted" Wink while shes there, so It wont be too disappointing picker her up. Just fancy a like new steering wheel...
