Help with connector part numbers

Investigating problems with the sunroof on a new-to-me MY05 V8 HSE I find that one of the *@#$* POs has cut the wires and removed the sunroof control module together with its connectors, leaving the motor wired directly to the switch. Not ideal, as they say.

I have sourced a module, but can't find the connectors anywhere.

Can anyone tell me where I should be looking for a part number, or where I might source the connectors? I have not found anything similar locally, I assume they are a dedicated LR part.

TIA!

Hi

Think the best thing will be to find a breakers and get a second hand loom which will include the connector u req, cut a section off and rejoin it as know some looms can be very big

Here’s a link for the parts section

http://new.lrcat.com/#!/12128/45758/46304

Sorry that’s not much help but know when I needed some connectors I got a loom and just took off what I wanted

Hope that helps a little

Looks like u may need the loom, part number YMK501070

One on eBay , looks the right one as it says sunroof in it but like everything not 100% as there might be a variation according to year

But hope it helps a little bit anyway

Wow, guys, thanks a million for the tips and information.

Bow down Bow down

That wiring loom on eBay could have been interesting, but he doesn't mail to Brazil, also I'm not sure that I see the connectors that I need on the loom.

Been looking around local breakers, but they will only sell the motor side connector together with the motor ($$$).

Will renew my search with those part numbers in hand.

Thanks to everyone for their assistance!!!

Yes, it starts getting very expensive very quickly

For our Topix subscription, and SDD Diag subscription, we are best part of £4k per year Shocked

OMG, that a serious amount of money to spend out each year

Some of the ones I looked at were, halfords professional , Alldata and autodata , one day would like to get an handheld diagnostic scanner that incorporates an oscilloscope and the extensive wiring on it , but know there £1-2k

Few weeks ago came across an OBD2 dongle called a thinkdiag but after the 2 x years u have to spend out another £100

Couldn't find those connectors anywhere without buying an entire loom + motor, which are overpriced locally.

I decided to extrapolate and have a local indie remove the roof lining, re-do the wiring (non-original connectors) and check what else is under there, check/renew the sunroof drains and finish off with some fresh lining material.

Expensive, but at least I have peace of mind wrt wiring and leaking drains.

Interestingly all the used looms / motors I looked at had different wiring colours to what is shown in the LR manual. I'm new to Land Rover World, don't know it that is a common thing. Maybe export models are different?

Anyway, thanks again for all the awesome help, these cars would be impossible to own without this forum and its members.
