Help I have lost a key

Does anybody know if LRA can disable a key, we have lost one very close to our house and I am worried somebody could use it.

It would mean calling them out tomorrow, which I would rather not do if it means calling some poor LRA guy out from home. Do they patrol or do they sit at home waiting for a call.

Disconnect and remove the battery, oh and empty the car. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Panic over, went to take the dogs this morning for a walk and found the key in front of the garage. Was a bit concerned as we never normally have any crime issue's here but yesterday we got a note through the door from the police to say that in the last week a number of vehicles had been broken into in the immediate area and to make sure nothing was on display.

The only other time we had a problem was a few months back when a kid was breaking into cars and they caught him, wouldn't surprise me if he was out again.
