Tried to find a live feed for the Blackvue and took the roof light out by the mirror, looked behind and on each side was a cylindrical object with fittings like those on a flurescent tube, thought it may be part of the curtain air bag but did not know it can right along behind the sunvisors, any ideas???MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

The connector identifies it as an airbag 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

DO NOT under any circumstances connect any other wires to the wires coming out of either of these devices you might set the air bags off

You can normally get a permanent live from the headlight switch and run it up the pillar quite easily.
That's were Land Rover source permanent live for the Webasto clocks on the D3
