Assuming you have high and low range in yours transfer that’s 2 speeds in my book and what is what I’d buy for my D4.

Personally I’ve used Rock Oil from Advanced Factors in mine and also plan on using in an L322 TDV8 I look after.

I can comment on the Ravenol, you need to check the Land Rover spec it refers to matches that of the D4. If you want something other than Rock Oil then you could try LRT who are in the sponsors section of the forum.

To answer your questions, as sourced from the Workshop Manual;

Rear Diff
Locking 1.5 l, use Castrol SAF Carbon Mod plus (a friction modifier)
Open 1.1 l, use Castrol SAF-XO 75W90

Manual is clear - use nothing else.

Front diff
0.61l, Castrol SAF - XO 75W90

Transfer box
1.5 l, use Shell TF 0753

Rear diff shown is non locking.
