17" look too Jeep

17 with BFGs look good and ATs are a fantastic all round tyre Ron, go with those
Then sell me the 19" MTRs at ridiculously cheap priceThe surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

Had STT's and ran only on one motorway trip to London and back.
Noisey ..... couldn't wait to get them off.
How are MTR's in comparison?...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

MTR's drone on the motorway but you get used to them, not as noisy as other Mud Tyres.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

MTR's give a re-assuring drone, whilst the STT's are down right noisey!!!!
BCB had STT's on his when we went to Croisiere, so about 1800 miles or so.
They seem to have perfected a 'resonation accelerator' at about 58mph up to 65mph, they're incredibly loud!!!
MTR's feel as sure fotted as anything & give you a (compared to std scorpions) nicer ride, less wallowy.
I'm gonna wear these scorps down & then put my MTR's back on.
Don't do as manymiles as you Ronp, but do about 20k/year. 19 of my 29k miles have been on MTR's Bodsys Brake Bible

Give each a go for a week or two Ron.In the end I thnk you'll favour the 19's for roadholding , theyre phoenominal for a mud tyre, I actually prefer them to road biased 19's.
I havent ran a 17 " Bfg but instead use Maxxis Bighorn which IMO beat anything handsdown in mud .But they do have the same sizings as the BFG.Youll find them very giddy and wallowy. But they really do look like they were made for the D3 and suit them looks wise over the 19's.But I'll stick to the 19's for road and work muck and keep the 17's for events.
only way is to find out yourself as you already know

Yep, once I can think of an alibi to swmbo - she doesn't know I've got one set of OR whhels never mind 2!!
I'll try out the 19's and drive them for a week.
If I'm happy, I'll keep them and sell the BFG's.
If not, then it'll be t'other way round.
sorted [i think]
