Help/advise on suspension calibration

I'm hoping there is someone on here who can help me with the suspension calibration on my 2007 discovery.

I'm using a Launch tool.

After replacing both rear arms I felt it would be good practice to re calibrate the suspension.
I had no faults in the system.

I can successfully run through the calibration process using the launch, the last massage shown on the screen is telling me the system has been calibrated successfully, and a request to turn the ignition off.

However I have a C1A00-54 control module permanent.

I believe this is die to an unsuccessful calibration, but I don't know what to do differently, and I am able to get a "successful" message..

Any help or guidance is well received.

Thank you and my fingers are crossed...

Plenty of diagnostic tools fail to put the suspension back into customer mode after height calibration leaving this fault code. If your launch tool will allow you to put the suspension into build mode and then back into active mode it should resolve the issue, but I’ve only ever done the calibration using the IID tool, so can’t speak for the capabilities of other tools. HTH 👍

That's exactly what was happening!

Thank you for your reply, I couldn't understand why it wouldn't calibrate correctly, there were no previous electronic issues, it was arms and air lines so it had to be something I was doing with the calibration process.
I did manage to stumble upon a status screen that showed the module was in the incorrect mode, changed that to normal/customer setting and light straight out, hight calibration readings accepted.

Thank you again.

Nice one and many thks as every day is a school day and good to learn other things like this

Alas assumed it was arms and not height sensors

Great it’s resolved

Try this:
-make a new calibration,
-at the end of process switch off the dashboard by key and extract the keyfob
-wait until car fall asleep,
-insert key and switch to II (dashboard on)
-on diagnostic tool go to suspension and select: "re-enable eas" (or similar it depends from tool brand),
-switch dashboard off by key again then on,
-re-check if the C1A00-54 is still present.

Sometimes in order to make permanent a service routine an ECU complete restart is needed (windows style Shocked )
