Was playing with it and had my front wheel at hip height(bottom of tyre 500 mm off the ground)and it still had more to go.

I've ordered the Frontrunner AirCrane. Thanks for all the advice.
However, even though the website shows the bag, the price does not include the bag. Cheapskates!

I use a TAKLA airjack with exhaust and compressor inflation methods. A second exhaust bung is supplied for the D3. I have had the second bung come unstuck (with a loud bang) that scared the s t out of me . You have to lock the bungs tightly into the exhaust pipes. The airjack typically inflates very fast at idle, so you have to watch it carefully.
The TAKLA product seems more robust than the other ones I saw.

Frontrunner aircrane works perfectly. I have a 110 litre / minute (150 psi) double-head air compressor and took about 5 minutes to inflate. Probably shorter but felt long because I found it quite stressful with the entire side of the vehicle lifting up on air
It was on a slope and fortunately I placed objects behind the remaining wheels... I stopped the inflation once both wheels were about 5cm off the ground and the bag has probably 20% still to go (which you probably need in soft sand (mud)).
This is really the way to go as it was clean, quick and moerse impressive party trick. Had to watch the hot exhaust though. Frontrunner roofrack and ladder. Optima yellow top. National Luna dual battery system. Bridgestone Dueler D694 A/T.
