Thanks. Given that the Naviplus seems to be highjacking the factory navigation system to work, I wonder if is therefore a digital audio input like this?

According to this thread on AULRO website, https://www.aulro.com/afvb/l319-discovery-...-play.html , AUX button needs to be selected on the factory headhunt for it's audio.
It's a pity that Naviplus are light on any information. Mine - MY09 L319 D3 HSE Lion 2.7 TDV6 and modified MY03 LT L318 Discovery 2a HSE Td5 15P
Hers - MY12 L319 D4 Lion 2.7L TDV6
Dads - MY12 L319 D4 Lion 2.7L TDV6

Thanks. I misinterpreted and assumed it was retaining the factory 4WD info screen etc, where rather it's an aftermarket 4WD screen using CANBUS data.

Unfortunately those headhunts seem to also req an analogue audio cable into the 3.5mm auxiliary input too. Mine - MY09 L319 D3 HSE Lion 2.7 TDV6 and modified MY03 LT L318 Discovery 2a HSE Td5 15P
Hers - MY12 L319 D4 Lion 2.7L TDV6
Dads - MY12 L319 D4 Lion 2.7L TDV6
