Well I took the other mirror apart after leaving it to warm on the radiator this time and it was all fine, I swapped all the internals, too dark to look in the headlining for the wiring but the mirror is back on and ready to be connected now.
So tomorrow's plan is to connect this up and fit my hot shot heated washer kit. Very Happy D4 HSE

Hi, yes this time I was more careful and I had let it warm on a radiator for a bit first, once you get a couple of clips off you can pull it without using any tools. The hardest part was getting the spring type coil back on around the ball joint when refitting the mirror. D4 HSE
