Hopefully picking up my Disco 4 2010 HSE tomorrow! |
|
If all goes well I will be driving off with a new, to me anyway LR Disco4 3.0TDV6 HSE in Fuji white(I think) tomorrow. 8)
After many years behind the three diamonds of Mitsubishi I hope that this return to LR will be a pleasant one. Pretty nervous I must say, but still very excited! Still very much behind Mitsu all the way but change is as good as a holiday they say and boy do I need a holiday!
Cant wait to get it out there. Already ordered General Grabber AT tyres to tough it up a bit. Hopefully they will be OK.
Cheers.

CATS,
We won't go into the realms of any reliability issues, but so far all other respects are concerned you certainly will not be disappointed by the D4 when compared to any Mitsubishi product. I have driven a number of Mitsubishis (including Shogun, Shogun Sport, Outlander etc, etc) so am not giving an opinion based on here-say.
The D3 was way ahead of the Shogun to drive, and the D4 ups the anti even further. Hopefully, many of the gremlins that blighted the D3's have been sorted for the D4 (he says, keeping fingers crossed and his rabbit's foot in his pocket!), so reliability is also much better. That said, as I'm sure you will have read, there are many, many more satisfied drivers of D3's than ones with problems.
Enjoy it, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
