I think all stock will probably go to Guildford , or southampton as part of the same group.
That is very sad news. They have always given me very good service, including very recently changing my clutch under a tsb. Where have all the staff gone?

Not sure about the staff , just got a letter this morning saying they were closed as from 30th .
I had service from them and would never of used them again but i would'nt of wished them to loose their jobs.

Something going on at Ipswich though, I hear that Inchcliffe who owned the Lind group pulled out last year, and Hunters took over but were not that interested - the Ipswich branch have certainly lost interest in customers over the past year - I have had to move my loyalty to Hunters of Norwich who are still prepared to give the right answers to my questions.
The ex dealer principal at Ipswich is rumoured to be planning to set up a new LR specialist outfit in the town, but whether it will be dealer or independent I don't know.I'm on a whisky diet. I've lost three days already.

I used Hunters Norwich last week for the first time, for it's first service, as my supplier, Lookers of Bury St Edmunds closed, & I was quite impressed with the service I received from them.never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly

I have good local independents so won't need to go to Ipswich for service. Nevertheless good luck to them; I bought three vehicles from Lindacre down the years, had excellent sales and service support, so I guess the same guys will do well in their new venture. Just got back From MJ Fews (North Bristol) and they tell me they are inundated with disgruntled Hunters owners. Many havnt been informed that they have ceased trading. One guy phoned to book his car in its first service, agreed the price and the date then just happended to ask where in Bristol they were. He was told, we are in Guildford. All calls appear to be redirected without any message. another Chap collected his new D3 only to find it was the wrong spec. The next day he phoned up and they had ceased trading and he couldnt get any help Duncan
