You could incorporate the pipework into an extrernal roll cage I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

You just need to get rid of that nasty black raised intake next and use the excellent one designed by caverD3 and it'll look the dogs Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."

I seem to recall you doing a very neat installation of the 2.7 tdv6 engine in a Defender in early April, which seems to be difficult to replicate but that's probably due to my naivety, but I don't think this is just as tidy and may be an issue in the car wash. I don't want to criticise but from my perspective I'd spend a little more time in attempting to re route the pipes a touch more securely. The location of the intercooler looks perfect though but I'd fit a gauze mesh on the front when travelling through Scotland at this time of year to avoid it being clogged up my midges.
Sorry Andrew, but I'm with Peanut Bob here. The hoses and intercooler look very exposed when in an off road environment. They could catch on over hanging branches etc, causing damage to both the hoses and intercooler.
Also, I am quite sure this mod will invalidate the warranty. I think you should put a disclaimer on the modification in case some unwary member copies your changes only to be devastated after damaging the hoses and intercooler when in an off road environment on over hanging branches etc, causing engine failure and be told by their dealer that this modification was the cause. We wouldn't want that to happen to anybody.
I don't like to criticise, but think everyone should be aware of the implications
