+1 for adding a bit of a 'draft' to the inlet to aid start up.

My FBH had been locked out for a while and, after unlocking was making the right noises but not firing - I used a battery powered air pump (as you'd use to blow up an inflatable mattress) straight into the inlet and this seemed to tip the balance.

Does anybody fancy doing a few screen shots of what you have to do to adjust the co2 on the WWT software? Would be quite handy to know which way things need adjusting etc etc

Pete.
IID, webasto software and workshop facility's available.

Great post!!

Just got mine running with the help of the wifes hair dryer (it is hers, honest Embarassed )

Have given it two long burns so will see how it goes...

My CO2 was is set at 96 which is alot higher than anyone had posted earlier so I'm goin to leave that setting as it is and just give it a few more good burns from cold and see how it is...

Oh well.....spoke too soon... seems my FBH doesn't like starting when its cold Sad gave it 4 really long burns (up to 88c then let it run for another 10 mins) but this morning it tried, bit of smoke, then 2H error, failed to start even after restart...

Currently getting the same error code and I can get the fbh to start when blowing air in.

Any chance you could post a link to the cables required and a how to for altering the co2 I’m sure this could be made into a sticky as there are lots needing this help

If you come out of this thread and into the main Webasto FBH section the link to the Wiki and the shop for the cables are stickied at the top Thumbs Up

I did notice that when the FBH is starting up the Combustion fan only runs at 30-35% until it has 'lit' and only then does it ramp up to 83% so would altering the CO2 affect the fan speed for starting up?

Censored I had one of those but gave it away a few years ago, do I plug that into the obd port or do I need to clip wires onto the pins and do the same on the fbh, the reason I ask is I have seen it done that way, I was hoping just to plug into the obd port

No bud, can't be done from the OBD so you need to wire out from the pins.
