Not sure how you could spend £76k on a D4?

I don't understand where that figure came from
Current configurator price for D4 Landmark V6: £56,005 (around £1,000 less than I seem to remember that the HSE Lux was)
Current configurator price for D5 HSE Lux V6: £65,695??
Ah, I see what you might have done:
3.0 V6 Graphite: £47,505
2.0 4 SE £49,495
Although a £3,500 increase, to £50,995 for the 3.0 V6, might be a fairer comparison.
Consequently, to be strictly fair, the V6 for V6 price increase is somewhere between £3,500 and £8,500. Alternatively, we do have an added range of 2.0 economy versions that are "only" £2,000 to £5,500 (HSE Lux D4 to HSE Lux D5) more than their D4 V6 predecessors...2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄

I see that there is a load space security box in the Accessories download:
"Car safe box made of steel with an anti drill lock provides space to keep a 15” laptop and case or similar items inside. Attaches to the loadspace luggage rails using fixings inside the box. For 5 seat only. Requires loadspace rails for fitment."
Is the 5 seat model a lower cost or no cost item? Or is it even an option. I never noticed it in any spec.Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

The post above mine said they had a D4 at 76k and the D5 came in at 78k. Perhaps a typo by the author because you would need to be off your head to pay that for a D4 never mind a D5. I am aware it's a sharp increase above the old.
In my case it's a £10k increase from D4 SE to D5 SE though the D5 has more kit so more in line with XS/Graphite than SE.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

No ! wasn't typo straight from horses mouth more money than sense to me she said that price with husband in tow also they said they had a DS & RR sport in family.Said they always have top of range as well as ticking the boxes never keep the car for MOT .
They rolled that of the tongue when lower mortals like me stated you have to tick options on a basic even rear parking sensors is extra and this car was top of range, but looked nice in expensive black paint but those 22" tyres .

Hard to put your feet anywhere. Not sure what car you sat in but it certainly was not any of the D5s I have sat in. They all had loads of room in the rear seats and I would argue more than a D4. The only down side we could see was the floor was higher up so you knees were higher up. That was easily solved by sliding middle row forward a bit to allow you to stretch your legs even more if you wanted. Do not have that option in a D4.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
