1966 '88 Series 2a....still starts in the morning better than I do...

I was one of the passengers in Euan's car. Lovely car and deserves a far better owner... Whistle

It was interesting seeing how the car was stationary but both diffs were all red.
Also the D4 locks in stages, whereas my D3 is locked or open, no stages.

I would like one, and can think it would be helpful for situations.

You can also get air locking front and rear diffs for the D3/4 but at a cost.

Truth is.... they do help you get somewhere marginally quicker and with slightly less effort .....but that's all. I'm on my 4th and still waiting not to get somewhere without one Smile

As I said,I think that's fair comment.....correct/incorrect tyres would have a far bigger say in the matter than an E-diff Thumbs Up
