How do I remove the leather cover from the seat |
|
Hello,
I have noticed that one of the seams on the bottom cushion of the passenger seat is coming apart slowly (leather seats). The seat is hardly used, not really sure what caused it, so it could be the heat? It is an easy repair if I can take off the leather surface and saw it from the bottom side. Any ideas on how to remove the leather without damaging the seat?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Very useful, I did try a couple of searches. The challenge now is to find hog rings and pliers locally, which would be a heck of a challenge

Not really worth you buying the pliers just to do this repair. just use mole grips etc
