How do I secure the aux battery I fitted?

Does anyone know if the auxillary battery for a RHD D3 can be secured with the OEM LR part for securing a battery in a LHD car?

If not what is need to complete the job?

You need two bolts and the clamp plate:

The long bolt LR part n# is XYG 000051
The short bolt LR part n# is XYG 500061
The bracket is YFJ500100

(for any Europeans reading with the wheel on the wrong side of the car, you need a YFJ500110 bracket).

Speak to Nick aka the large one, at Yeovil, he can order them in, when we did it the group buy it was about £3 for the lot so basically not a lot of money for an exact fit. Local dealer could also order I assume.

Or as Disco Stu says, some threaded rod and a small collection of bolts and you are away, but even at B&Q it will still cost you more than the original brakcets and bolts I reckon!

Lots chat about split charge in the Optima Yellow top group buy thread.
