Can highly recommend Braemar Highland Experience

It's a guided tour, and you can't drive your own car though

Thumbs Up

Quite fancied that. Thumbs Up
I’m up in Dunkeld for a weeks hol in a couple of weeks.
Will be travelling up by Spittal of Glenshee to Braemar, but sadly after checking their website, tours stop 11th Aug.
But I will take in the minor road to the west (past Mar Lodge) and back.

However when in Perthshire I’ll be travelling on some scenic minor roads near Loch Tay eg Glen Lyon, Glen Lochay & Glen Dochart.
Done them before, they’re remote and very quiet (well they were on my last few trips).
I don’t need the “mud plugging” stuff, just happy enough on remote, scenic minor roads. Thumbs Up

Beautiful part of the country, my Grandfather lived on Loch Tay, had one of the Lodge self catering businesses. We've a place in Fearnan now.
