To be fair, there are so many complete Censored on the road these days that, for many, the sight of another road user gesticulating at something merely lights the blue touchpaper. (Or is that just me?)

If it had been me (and it wasn't), I'd have felt pretty silly when I stopped and found the reason for the gesticulations.

But given that the offender caused the OP to stand on the brakes, I'd probably be keeping quiet, having realised what a massive cock I'd been.

But "theralboss" wasn't just "another road user", he was fellow Disco driver and presumably gesticulating at the smoking wheel, and not skyward. Thumbs Up

Many years ago I was driving home from Glasgow on the M74 on a red hot day, all of a sudden tailgate on fiesta in front popped open and loads of clothes out of open suitcase were spilling all over the road, so I beeped my horn and pointed as I went past - to which I got the finger & V sign from driver and his missus.

I just prayed they were going on holiday

They just make the best of everything they have.

Name and shame, it's the only way for some people to take account for their actions, I had the same sort of response from a car driver towing a trailer with a load strap dragging along the road with his load now unsecured. I wonder what he thought I was doing when I tried to draw his attention to it by beeping the horn and hand signalling to him???? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
