750-800rpm sounds about right, although if the air-conditioning compressor is functioning, the D3 will usually up this speed to around 900-1100rpm if it detects that the temperature of the evaporator is getting too high. 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue
