No, it's not possible. There is an option in the CCF, but it doesnt work.
It is sounded through the IPC speaker. When the speaker fails, it doesn't ding, but you also loose your indicator tick, and front PDC (if fitted)

Surely that is the way to stop the seat belt gong not the key in ignition and door open gong.
I have been asking for 10 years now on how to stop the gong when key in ignition and door open and never had a fix.

Yeah for seat belt alarm. Put seatbelt in and out 16 times.
For key in gong software update required. and then ccf option change

Bear in mind keeping the key in the ignition increases the stand by current dramatically as many of the modules stay awake, so all very well disabling the bong but you will swear when it won't start.... Suggests that may be the reason for the bong in the first place....

Just throwing this in here but can you change the sound the "Bong" makes and also the indicator "tick tock"? The D4 sounds a lot nicer than the D3

Working on my D3 not long after they came out in 2005, and left key in ignition whilst working on it for about 5 hrs. Battery down to 7.5 volts . Door locks just rattled when trying to start . I leant the hard way that it doesn't shut down unless you remove the key !
