IID Faults and incorrect mileage
So I've been playing around with my new gab iid bt tool and after messing around I noticed that there is a discrepancy between the odometer reading
on the fault and my dash odometer. My dash is 156991 but according to the iid I had a fault occurred at 157751.
Is my car predicting the future, if so that's really cool
Or has someone clocked my car by 700 odd miles

It’s probably not that it’s just been clocked by 700miles. That was when the fault was. It could of been anything past that!! How long have you had the car?

ISTR from a long time ago the dealer could reset the car to zero a few times as long as the car hadn't done 1000 miles in total.

Pretty sure it's just a glitch in some file data.
I had one fault showing a mileage of +900k now that would be a mega achievement with a D3 , and another with 50k less than the current reading, both these were read on the same fault code scan, all the others showed the same as display

Found it
I asked why the date and mileage was out, some of my recent faults show up as happening in 2015
'The IIDTool read the time and date from the ECU which is standardized and then displays it. We do not manipulate the numbers'

Very strange, I'm sure it's just one of those landrover quirks, I like to think that my car can predict the future. So if my car has a suspension failure at 157751 miles I will know my car is awesome
