IMPORTANT - READ THIS NOW - D3 RESEARCH

Guys, I failed to contact Mr Oliver on the D3 research so decided to call Arnold & Bolingbroke direct. It appears that I am excluded from the forum because I have have other LR's, have had other LR's, know too many people in LR, use them for business even though mine is my own and paid for by me privately and in full on purchase. Plus a lot more other items. The forum is only for people who have never owned any kind of LR before????

However, I kicked up a bit and I am now going to be interviewed seperately re the issues I have because I have cancelled my order of the other 6 D3's.

This is outrageous and sorry, but I am normally quite calm, but this time I am mad. Evil or Very Mad Even cancelled an important meeting for nothing Twisted Evil

I would suggest guys that if you have NEVER owned a LR before you all call this number 0800 731 1406 now

You would have thought that they want to retain the brand loyalty that has been built up over the years. Perhaps this is demonstrating that LR are after a different market than the old Disco 2 owners.

I think what we have to face up to is that it is not LR any more it is the mighty Ford. Someone has just reminded me today that it is Ford we are dealing with now.

It does get worse, because I have just received a call from a&b (14:00 14/4/05) saying that unfortunately they had another forum for owners who have had previous LR's, but this was now full so I cannot attend, even if it was only 1 more seat. I am a little scheptical and b'#*dy furious. Evil or Very Mad

I think somebody who is (or was, or still maybe?) buying 7 vehicles is more than just an average customer, and deserves to be treated like royalty IMO.

If I had someone wanting to buy 7 systems off me, I would move heaven and earth to make sure they were happy from moment 1.

They're not making any friends are they? Crying or Very sad

BN, don't let them get to you. I'm also having a run-in with LR about something entirely different - amazing what they'll do to a life-long fan Sad They just don't think...

Martin, the whole situation is quite silly, because all we want are simple answers. I know a little about vehicles, but need to be reasured before I go ahead with other purchases. What they do not know and I am not telling them is that we specify to companies types of vehicles for their use. Many of our customers are fuel companies. For instance all the Scania trucks in Hungary, Bulgaria etc with 3 fuel companies we recomended which resulted in the sale of 287 trucks. The same applies to LR's and other vehicles. I am a small company what on earth would a seriously large company do to their reputation if they do not like LR's attitude. Good job they have Jeremy Clarkson on their side (at the moment).

Martin, get some DISCO3 site stickers ready, I will place them in my Suzi Jimny when I bring it to the show at Gaydon. That'll show LR - eh! Twisted Evil

Maybe Jezza would like to know about this! The newseries of Top Gear starts soon, and they are always looking for up to date news etc.

Maybe a better idea would be for someone to contact watchdog, I am sure they would be happy to hear about the FBH that is there but soon to disapear and all the other faults on a vehicle of this price.

I think contacting Watchdog was considered a while ago, but dismissed as being a bit too 'strong' - BN might be on a charge though! Smile
