You also need to take into account dealer allocations when trying to fathom lead times. Dealers are getting very few D4s to sell.

I was told today that they basically have almost nothing coming in that's not sold. They had I think a black HSE, but our D3 is black, and think we would have alternate colour if we were to spend £££ on a change!
I don't always listen to what the sales guy says, but in this case I believed him that the cars were walking out the door with limited effort from them.
Bummer if you want a discount, maybe try somewhere where sales are suffering (Honda springs to mind! )

Trick is to find a dealer who a) has a vehicle to sell in a nearterm allocation and who b) is willing to give a discount. The two don't really go together!

I think the words dealer and discount don't really go together!
Just after an idea of costs on impulse, will be sure to shop around if it all gets serious
