Just got a click from the starter solenoid and nothing else. No warning lights (other than the norm before the engine starts), no fault codes found by IID, nought. Tried a freshly charged battery but all the same. Only option left is a solenoid, nope can hear it clicking. Starter, possibly. engine, I feckin’ hope not
Will know Tuesday hopefully, in the meantime I have “my” MY16 as a fallback and MrsH is driving an old 120k miles Corsa Van a friend has loaned us LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Simon said exactly the same when I sms’d him the pic earlier.
But unfortunately no, old Bali Beastie has for the first time let me down seriously, engine won’t even turn over. Hoping it’s just a new starter motor that’s required LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Might be worth you putting up the symptoms or are you going to rely on my techie super powers from our conversation earlier?
The rest of you vultures can bog off! Pretty much anything I “may” take off Bali Beastie gets fitted to the Red Peril LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

There was issues with some on the earth wire from the engine to body failing causing the same symptons, but cannot remeber if that was D3 or D4MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Check the power supply to the starter hasn’t shorted out on the diff casing?
