Interior Trim Upgrade to Brushed Alloy
Ok, this is the easiest of Mods on the HSE interior. With the black leather, black dash and grey trim the HSE needs an upgrade. So after the Piano Black trim, which is great , I opted for the this area trim.
Before the new trim, standard grey and very dull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After, and what a difference, All you need to do is thoroughly clean the area with the wipes supplied, heat the area for mounting, and fit.....................
Top mod, recommended to all HSE's / D3's with the Black Leather, Black Piano trim. Many thanks again to "Nick", aka "The Large One" who sourced from LR.

I'm in the same situation (sort of). I have an alpaca interior and I've just fitted the MY08 Wood trim kit from Nick @ Yeovil.
The wood trim looks fantastic (at least to me ) and lifts the otherwise dull interior a lot.
This area is my next point-of-call, but I decided not to do what you did because, although it looks good, it's still a 'stick-on' bit like the fake wood mouldings/stickers that LR sell....
Doesn't the MY08 have a lighter colour centre panel (gear lever/TR cover) compared to the dark grey MY06 one?
The photo looks strange to me, what with the EBP switch on the 'wrong' side

My EPB switch is there cos its a right hand drive, maybe lft hookers have it the other side. Not sure but its obvious really.
The upgrade does'nt look stuck on as the edges are bevelled and alloy a look of factory fit. They aint flimsy either, and do look great in situ !!!!

It was a joke....the EPB switch is always next to the driver. In my case it's on the other side, but it just looks 'wrong' to me seeing a close up of it on the right hand side.
The front/gearlever/cupholder parts look spot on, but I can still see the 'stick-on' effect around the TR knob and levers....
Do you have a wider angle photo showing the piano-black and brushed alu together?

Who is the manufacturer of the kit?
Are you going to do the rest of the dash?

Hope these pics are a better idea of combined trims, I liked the alloy look because after the Wood trim upgrade I noticed all the silver attached trim below the SATNAV, and and thumb Knobs for vent controls did'nt match anything. Now all matching
