Intermitent one side indicator outage
My beloved D3 has started not wanting to use any of the indicators on the left-hand side when it feels like it. It appears to reset its decision-making process if I switch it off and restart it, but, as with virtually everything it does or doesn't do, it seems completely random.
It's a '07 TDV6 HSE on 150K, and although very well maintained, I'm on the brink of redesignating it an HSE-R to honour its randomness. Anyone have any thoughts?... e.g. are all the indicators on that side controlled by one fuse, relay, or some such?
Please don't say it's time to get rid, because that is never going to happen.

The days are gone when you could go and test a relay?
Time to get it plugged in and see if anything is logged..but check every bulb first. Any LED's fitted?
Check connectors for moisture too.2011 MY D4 HSE

Good guess. I had the D4 upgrade rears from PUK years ago, never caused a problem, but I just fitted front LEDs and I put a 25W Ballast resistor inline on the feed to the main clusters. I was wondering whether the scotch connectors was not making good contact on that side, but couldn't fathom why that would take them all out on that side?.
I also fitted the PUK door mirror repeater upgrades, but left the old door repeaters in place poked inside the body of the doors, with a TDV6 badge covering the holes.
Do you think a bad connection on the ballast on the front cluster could take out that whole side?

Have no idea about the ballast resistors, but on balance I'd guess you're going to have to pick through your upgrades.
Or just put it back to normal bulbs.2011 MY D4 HSE

Fast dash, and getting out and having a look. First noticed it when I locked the car and only the right side flashed, viewed from the back first, then checked the same all around. Unlocked the car and started the engine, and all was back to normal again.

2 outputs from the cjb
1 front
1 for rear and side repeater.
I guess you could hook the rear up to the towbar if you get desperate.

Thanks everyone. I forgot to mention that I put a new battery in it at the weekend. I've heard stories where that can confuse things. I've only got a very basic OBDII, but will plug it in tomorrow and see what that throws up. Likely lots of "lost communications with" type stuff I suspect... Maybe clearing some of those down might help. Never know with these cars. Sometimes I've just given it a sideways "behave yourself" look, and it sort of knows what I mean
