My D3 TDV6 auto 07 has an intermittent drive problem. When I slow down almost to a standstill and then try to pull away again there is often no drive. If I command shift into a gear then all is well and I can go back to drive almost immediately. If I slow down in drive and let the car come to a standstill then the drive comes back when I stop. The D on the instrument panel goes out at the same time as there being no drive.
Any ideas guys?Volvo XC60 - does all that the D4 should have done

There is a known snag with the selector mechanism (it can partially seize) - more info available here ...Regards,
